Hey there, everybody. This is Birds Weekly, our preview edition as the Eagles get ready to take on the

high power Detroit Lions and Lincoln Financial Field on the Sunday night and Ray. The

lions come in here, they're six and three. I'm surprised they've lost three games, but they're four and one in

a row.

They've won three in a row.

They have the number six offense in the National Football League, the number seven

defense in the National Football League.

And this is a team, one of those few teams in the NFC, we're going to have to watch closely as teams jockey for a position to the stretch run.

And I can't emphasize enough how huge this game is for the Eagles in terms of that all important seating.

It is. It is. And we looked at this during the buy, how important these two games were, Green Bay and Detroit, teams that are right there, right there with you in the standings, and teams that looking down the road, at this point, it's really all about the seeding of stuff. And the way things

are now, there's only one by. And you look at what the NFC is going to be like going into the

postseason with all of those teams, how closely bunched they all are. If you can get that number

one seed this year, man, that is going to be huge and the

lions are right there with you and i think in most people's reckoning if you look at the power

rankings now coming coming off this weekend's games sure it's you know it's eagles lions right

there at the top i mean they're they're right there as the packers were last week well the

eagles took care of the packers and and now you got the Lions. And even though you're playing them

in Philly, where the Eagles are very good, the Lions are a real challenge. They really are.

They're a very well-balanced team. They're good on offense, good on defense. And her offense

is, you know, got Jared Goffs completing almost 75% of his passes.
