We've been filming for the last couple days. We've got the gentleman from Gundog, Grine Coffee.

And we have Matt Davis from Final Rise Vess. We're just wrapping up a couple days of some pretty tough hunting, but we managed to get enough birds to keep it interesting.

Me and Jake were trying to do a little bit of quick back of the napkin math,

and I think we ended up getting about one point some birds per mile,

or point some birds per mile, because I think we ended up walking about eight miles today

and got five birds.

Yeah. And I think we did about the same yesterday.

But what the hell else are we going to be doing this time of the year? You don't have any more bow tags in your pocket for elk at the moment? Nope. Nope. Better than sitting on the couch, I'll tell you that. You guys can't be hunting ducks yet. There's no turkey seasons going on. So what the heck else are we going to do? We might as well be out there chasing some dogs around so yep we're going to talk a little bit about um how we've been doing the last couple

days talk about the film uh what we got going on here and then i'm really kind of one of the things

i want to start with actually is because you guys are turkey nerds and also elk nerd right there.

So one of the things that ever, I've never hunted an elk ever.

I was telling you guys last night, I've never heard an elk bugle in the wild,

which is something that I definitely have got on my list.

But you showed me some pictures earlier of some of the photography you used to do. It just looks like something that kind of might need to happen at some point.

But everybody talks about the comparison between turkey hunting and elk hunting.

It's similar, right? Yeah. I mean, I get around a bit during the spring. I usually end up with tags in three, four, five states chasing turkeys.

And it sets the same kind of interaction.

Right.

Anything that makes noise that you can communicate with, I feel like it just elevates
