We're two weeks and change into the Biden administration.

Oh man, there is a lot going on even as we're recording this, but we'll get to that.

I think the biggest thing that we should just jump right into

is something that you've been teeing up for weeks now, Joe,

which is that a group of Republican senators

came to meet with Biden to basically counter his proposal on COVID. and stuck to his guns. What do you make of what's going on here? Is there any

bipartisanship to be had and where do you see this going? I think Biden's

winning. Look, he he has talked about bipartisanship. He's made it clear, I think everybody in the country

thinks he's trying to find bipartisanship. I think it was great for him to host the 10 Republicans and look the American people

were on his side on this I mean that you know I just poll came out I think was the

Quinnipiac poll that had 61% approval rating for Biden and something

like 67, maybe it was even 69% approved of his package, the 1.9 trillion dollar package. You know when you get into the six a high

60s on support for a legislative package that the president's proposed I can tell you I don't sure I don't know if it'll be 1.9 but it's

sure not going to be 600 billion and I think if the Republicans vote against it in lockstep then there'll be a lot of Republicans

having to explain why they didn't vote for $1,400 to help people out and why they didn't vote to give cities and states the money they

needed to keep their front line first responders on task and get the money for vaccines out there. So I think you know right now if

if the president has clearly put his hand out and said let's work together on this and

let's work in a bipartisan way. He said he wants a bipartisan support for it, but
