Biola is experiencing, let's just say, an interesting moment right now.

We have some of the most positive things occurring on campus, including some I hear from

two of my own kids who are here, and yet some of the most vocal critics in years.

You may. Please. Yeah, thank you. You know, I will say that as this year began, I was truly thanking the Lord that this is one of the strongest missional years we've had.

And this is my 19th year in the role here at Biola.

And a matter of fact, not long ago, I got a text message I shared with somebody that

from one of our more seasoned theologians teaches at Tori, who said, like, he counts 2025 as the

golden year of Biola missionally. So it's been, I just came to this year thinking, like, we keep on getting

stronger and stronger at who we are. And I think the evidence is in many ways, I mean,

enrollment is up five straight years. And when you think about enrollment, like biblical studies

majors are higher than they've been in years. We welcome the largest Talbot incoming class at Talbot School Theology that we have ever had.

Amazing.

I mean, and I was, like, following some research recently too, you know, what Barn is saying about Gen Z.

Like, they're heading back to church, and they want to be engaged in things that are, like, are enduring, are transcendent, not just, like, caught up in these fashionable ideologies.

Well, this is a place, this is what we do at Biola, right?

They want to come here for that.

We have seen an increase of 11% over the last year in the number of Bible sold in the United States,
