This podcast is about the unexplained death of a young woman, Laura Van Y. I have reviewed

and I will report on the contents of official case files provided by the police department

that's investigating her possible homicide, including witness interviews and police reports.

You will hear me provide my own opinions about these materials in the hopes of shedding

new light on this cold case.

It's important to stress, no person has ever been charged or convicted of killing Laura

and everybody identified in this podcast is innocent until proven otherwise.

I think they were shocked by the custody proceedings and they had no idea what links I would go

to.

The big issue was who got to raise Sam even though we were all at Laura's funeral.

People sort of felt like in the middle of all of this that they kind of needed to take

sides.

For as time that was a bonding experience between the three of us until he was in the position

of being thought to be a suspect.

We're going to think about the evidence and think about the different theories that might

fit that evidence.

We'll start kind of narrowing it down as to what we really know happened.

Over the past few weeks, we've covered a lot of ground in this podcast.

We've met Annie and Laura and have begun to examine some of the questions surrounding

Laura's death.
