Summary

Exactly one year after the murder of John Tunstall, a Lincoln County miracle occurs: Jimmy Dolan and Billy Bonney make peace. The two warring factions agree to stop fighting, but the armistice doesn't hold. As Billy pursues a risky plan to earn a pardon from the new governor, a murder shatters the peace agreement and threatens Billy's hopes for amnesty.
