I am your host, Alison Herman, and I am joined today by fellow Ringer staff writer and professional Wendy Rhodes enthusiast, Kate Nibbs.

Hello, I do love me some Maggie Siff.

Yeah, I guess love is maybe too strong a word for your

feelings for Wendy, but I think you are a great guest to have on the show at this pivotal

Wendy Juncture in this season, really, because you wrote an excellent piece for The Ringer last year

that we will link to in our show notes called Wendy Rhodes is the most villainous

villain on billions, which is a tough title. Okay, but I meant that as a compliment, I want to say

first and foremost, I do love Wendy. I think she is probably the most well-developed character in

the show. I've had mixed feelings about the season in general,

but I've really loved that it's been a showcase for her character. And I didn't mean like

she's a cartoonish villain. It's just that she's so good at manipulating the men who are

positioned as the ultimate manipulators themselves on the show that I think she's a little

more sly than she had

been portrayed in seasons past. And now she's like finally confronting the fact that she's

like really, really manipulative. So it's been interesting to see her like sort of emotionally
