I can say that at this point in the investigation, though it is very early, we are not currently seeking or looking for an outstanding suspect.

Well, the autopsy says the cause of death for both Barry and Honey Sherman was ligature

neck compression. But beyond that, they aren't saying how they came to be strangled inside their

Toronto home. And it's been three days since they were found inside that Toronto mansion. That home

still very much a crime scene and homicide investigators have taken over the investigation. They

say they're still calling it a suspicious death investigation because simply they are still picking up

those pieces of evidence.

Now, they had said initially they weren't 100% sure that foul play was involved.

They also said there were no signs of forced entry into that home.

And they said at the time that they were not seeking any suspects.

But there have also been media reports citing police sources saying that the police

were investigating this as a possible murder, suicide. Of course, the Sherman family shocked

to hear that they had released a statement this past weekend to the media calling for a full

police investigation.

I've had murder cases where I've made an arrest four years after the fact.

And as we know, we have a cold case squad that can make arrests and close cases decades afterwards.

I don't think this case is going to fall into that category.

But there is a lot of material that has to be

gone through before we get to a conclusion. In November of last year, billionaires Barry and

Honey Sherman listed their North York home on Old Colony Road for $6.9 million as they prepared to build a new house.
