I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

And Lakers got a better win than it may look like on the surface D last night.

I really loved that game.

They came out of the gates playing serious basketball,

held Portland to 15 points in that first quarter. Austin really had an excellent first shift

and a great game overall. Him and LeBron combined for 72 points and 17 turnovers against a

switching defense that was sort of a continuation of what we saw against Charlotte.

And, D, what I think will be a very common defense that the Lakers face going forward.

And so as we get later on in this pod and even going forward this season, I think solving this puzzle,

I think last night's game gave me some clarity on what

the right path forward is for the offense and integrating Luca and Austin and all of that.
