I felt I was off my game yesterday, and that's not fair to do to you, and it's not fair to do to the listener.

It's not fair to America, and I'm sorry.

What do you mean? I was off my game. I just, things were just not, I was searching for words. I was searching for ideas. There was a lot of searching going on, way more than in a podcast hour, I think. Well, I didn't notice. Maybe I'm always that bad. No, I mean, bad, don't say that.

I will say you seemed a little on the despondent side yesterday.

You know what happens is, I honestly, I combed through the internet for an hour to an hour

and a half before you and I do the podcast, just looking for story ideas and stuff like

that.

And for some reason, and I know it's been like this for a while, but there'd be a sad story,

then I'd find a sadder story than an even sadder story, like one after another after another.

And I'm like, oh, God, is there anything good in this?

And that just, it compounded yesterday.
