We are going to talk with Anne-Marie Schubert.

She was the former Sacramento District Attorney.

We chronicled the case of David Allen Funston recently. David Funston was sentenced to three

life terms for the kidnapping, the beating up, and the raping of a number of young children

under the age of seven. I think it was at least five. A couple got away. Thunston was sentenced

again to three life terms, but the parole board voted to let him out a few weeks ago.

There was a huge public outcry.

He was let out, but he was immediately arrested for another crime that he was never prosecuted

for back in the 1990s.

So right now he's still behind bars, but legally he was perverled from his original convictions.

And this caused an uproar, and now the assembly has responded to try to raise the retirement age of felons,

specifically these rapists and child predators. but there are a lot of issues with this let's talk with

It's 25, but it's a very narrow group of folks.
