We've got a couple of big headlines today on KKHI.

It's Bill Self and Donald Trump.

So we'll mix up the sports and the news and start with the big names, the big guns, and the big story,

which is Bill Self returning for a 24th season at the University of Kansas as their basketball coach.

A very good move, in my opinion, for the University of Kansas as their basketball coach, a very good move, in my opinion,

And the Jayhawk fans that are truly in the know should have a big sigh of relief that this is taking place.

Bill Self is still in on the number one player in the country.

A young man named Tyrone Stokes out of Washington State.

He's a 6-7 forward that is rated as the number one player in the country.

And it looks like with Bill self-returning, Stokes has made a post an emoji of like surprise,

but like good surprise.

You don't know with these guys.

And it usually comes down to the highest bidder, but we're of the belief that Kansas is willing to pay the young man more than anyone else to come play for Bill Self for one season before potentially then going to the NBA draft. Now, even though that didn't work out great for Darren Peterson, each player looks at it differently and doesn't, Stokes would never look at this and say,

well, what happened to Peterson is going to happen to me?

That's not the way these young players are wired.

He's pretty sure he's going to be a stud no matter where he goes.
