A number of very dramatic things are happening in the Middle East, in the surrounding territories of the Middle East.

And we have a man here today who's going to talk about that. And that man is Bill Salas.

Bill, as you know, has written many, many books concerning

developments in the Middle East from the biblical point of view. And Bill Salas, welcome to

prophecy watchers. Gary, thank you. It's great to be in your new studios. I'm so excited to be here.

Well, thank you. And we're excited to have you here because you devote a very unique study style when it comes to Middle East prophecy.

And I think your detailed approach is badly needed at this time because there are a lot of people saying a lot of things.

And as we are making this, there has been an exchange of powers between Iran and the United States.

And let's just begin right there and go back to the Bible and the things that you've written about.

Right. Iran is the elephant in the room in the Middle East.

That's right.

They're the bully.

And they are the subject of two end times prophecies.

That's right. Iran has double trouble, a double jeopardy in the end times.

Now many of your viewers are familiar with Iran as Persia in Ezekiel 38 verse 5,

but they may not be as familiar with Jeremiah written prophecy in Jeremiah 49

versus 34 through 39 dealing with ancient Elam.

Now when you look at a modern day map of Iran, you see that to the left, hugging the Persian

Gulf, about a quarter of the size of a modern day map would be ancient Elam, and then the other three-quarters of the map would be ancient Persia.

Now, Persia became Iran, renamed Iran, in 1935.

So when we look at Iran, we have two prophecies dealing with them in the end times.

Both prophecies talk about them being in the latter days, same Hebrew words.
