I was in college, and it was in the 70s when there was a lot of physical theater and we were doing a

theatrical version of Ipsen's brand. We were doing a scene where I was climbing on top of

actors that were forming this church, but we were improvving. And I realized improvs worked best when

your feet are on the ground. But I didn't know that at that time. I was climbing up and one of the

people that I had stepped on their shoulder just decided it was uncomfortable and he just kind of

shoved me off. And I don't think

he realized that I was way up there. And so I fell backwards. I hit my head, and I was in a

coma for two and a half days. And theater can be treacherous sometimes. That's Bill Pullman.
