My first big acting job was for a show called Blues Clues.

I didn't get the part, but I came very close. I went into a series of auditions.

First one was an open call, which means anyone can audition. They call it a cattle call. That then led to another one, another one.

And the rest is history. Yeah. Somewhere out there, there was an entire episode.

It was a test episode of me doing that job as a host, talking to blue and days.

Salt and pepper. I remember having to do like, let's go check the mailbox.

What I love to see that. No, no, it's so good.

But then years later, I saw the host, the guy who was the host, Steve, at an audition for something else.

And I didn't recognize him at first because he didn't seem like you would think that guy would act.

He had a leather jacket. And I think he had like marble reds and rolled up and sleep.

And he was, where's the fucking sign in sheet here?

I think it was maybe because he was overcompensating for everyone thinking he's that.

He wanted to get away from that image he had.

I mean, kid shows. Yeah.

They could have been you and me.

You know, you know who else overcompensated?

Peewee Herman. Oh, he sure did.
