As the science guy, television's Bill Nye inspired a generation of children to love science as much as he does.

A lot of people of my generation attribute their interest in love of science to Bill Nye.

But these days, he's speaking to a new audience.

Nowadays, I'm talking to adults, and I'm not mincing words.

Climate is changing. It's our fault. We've got to get to work on this.

But Bill Nye doesn't think we should leave it at that.

There's three things we want for everybody in the world. We want clean water,

renewably produced, reliable electricity,

and access to the Internet.

With those three things,

we could, I believe, provide a high quality of life for everyone on Earth.
