Well, welcome to a special edition of Dr. James Dobson's Family Talk.

I'm Roger Marsh, sitting in the co-host seat today, and we are joined in studio by a man who's

become a very special friend of the Dobsons and the James Dobson Family Institute and Family

Talk for many, many years.

His name is Bill Edwards.

Now, Bill may not exactly be a household name to you yet,

but he is a man that we think of as an everyday hero. As a matter of fact, this is a new feature

that we're introducing to the Family Talk broadcast, giving you an opportunity to meet

some of the everyday heroes who are really having a huge impact in Kingdom service and doing

so through the platform, if you will,

of the broadcast ministry of Family Talk. Now, for the past 45 years, Bill Edwards has been a

financial advisor for Edward Jones. He's also a farmer. He's also successfully operated his family's

6,000-acre farmland in North and South Dakota. He's been a staunch ally for Christian schools, has provided much-needed support for many of them

in his region in South Dakota and all across the country.

But Bill also has a heart for ministry as well, and we're going to get into one of the ways

that he uses Christian radio and Christian television to spread the good news through a ministry

that he's been a part of since he was a very young, I want to say a young man, but actually a young boy,

and then also a new video project that has taken the country by storm. Bill and his wife, Karen,

are the proud parents of three adult children. They have eight grandchildren, and four of

those grandchildren are two sets of twins, which I just think is amazing. We'll get into that in just a
