Today our guest is Bill Drayton, who is credited with the rise in interest in social entrepreneurship.

He's done many remarkable things in his life and his best note for his work as a CEO of Ashoka, which was founded in 1980.

Ashoka is the largest network of social entrepreneurs worldwide with nearly 3,000

Ashoka has provided startup financing, support services, and connections to a global

including the MacArthur Prize for his work at Ashoka.

Before founding Ashoka, Bill Drayton taught at Stanford Law School. He was at the Harvard Kennedy School.

He was also at the White House working with President Jimmy Carter and was an assistant administrator
