Summary
Well, folks, it finally happened — Bill Belichick took the field to coach UNC’s football team for the first time. After months of build-up and hype (especially surrounding his relationship with Jordon Hudson, who cold-called the gals out of the blue last month), his team lost 48-14. The TCU Horned Frogs demolished UNC, and the announcers ran out of stuff to talk about — to the point that ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit put his headset on his dog.
Madeline and Charlotte have many thoughts about how Belichick is handling the young people he’s responsible for.
There were many celebs in attendance, including NBA legend Michael Jordan, Former UNC basketball coach Roy Williams, NFL greats Lawrence Taylor, Julius Peppers, and Randy Moss, and country singers Eric Church and Chase Rice. There were many wild fan-made signs, the pre-game show felt like a living funeral, and the season couldn’t have gotten off to a rougher start!
