Today we are back with the fourth edition of one of our favorite things we do around here.

Strange as it is, it's bikes versus skis again, folks.

It's arguably a stupid title.

It's even more arguably a stupid exercise, and yet we love it.

And so do you. Don't deny it. And one of the reasons we love it is that it does actually

function as a great thought experiment to really kind of get a sense on an even more micro level of

who's doing what and how the balance of power is kind of shifting around in the bike world

and in the ski world. And joining me in this fourth edition of Bikes versus Skies is Luke Kappa, David Golay,

Dylan Wood, and Simon Stewart. And I got to admit, the crew came with some pretty good

insights and thoughts. Except for Dylan Wood, there's one thing in particular. Honestly, all I'm going to say is I completely

understand if some of you listening to this now have identified your absolute least favorite

reviewer at Blister, but just please don't murder him. That's all I'm going to say on that front

for now. But dear Lord, Dylan,

you can't say things like that. Okay, one other caveat I want to make before we get started here.

We're really focused here on bike frame manufacturers, companies that actually build frames and then outfit them with whatever

shiny bits that they want to hang on those frames. And then on the ski side, we're really

staying focused on brands that make and sell skis. We are not really going into ski boots

and the like. So keep your focus here on skis itself.
