This is the rant.

We're almost there, man. We're almost at the pencils down moment. I think I've exhausted pretty much every single strategy topic I could possibly

cover on this podcast. And if you're just coming into the fold now, you got some listening to

do. That's for sure. Because all these different podcasts of how to do this or why this matters

or why this hurts you, honestly, I think they're going to really help a lot of people out

for fantasy football purposes with drafts this year.

And they're evergreen.

So you can go back and listen to them.

But obviously today I want to talk about rankings, as you can see from the title of today's podcast.

I just did a comprehensive rankings update to really set us up for this huge fantasy football draft weekend that for some people even starts tonight.

So I wanted to touch with some of the biggest risers in rankings. This isn't a comprehensive list, but it's the players who stuck out to me

the most who moved upboards. You probably already know who some of them are, but maybe you don't

know who all of them. In fact, I think there are going to be a couple surprises here for you.

And I just want to talk about my general thoughts about these players. Now, I want to be really clear,

before you skip ahead,

before you start listening to the players, this is not a must draft podcast. It is not.

If you don't get these guys at cost, fine. There will be other players to get at cost. There

will always be other players. If you fixate on players, if you focus on players, if you star players, if you think that player is going to get to you, he will never get to you. You are going to get sniped every time. And when we get sniped, we go on tilt. When we go on tilt, we draft poorly, man, when we draft poorly, this stuff just isn't any fun, man. So we're going to avoid that, or at least I'm going to avoid it outright. I want to talk about these guys, but not must draft, all right? Just prefacing it with that.
