I'm Jeff.

This is the rant Wednesday, week seven, about to kick off tomorrow. And that means

we got to talk a little bit of rankings here. Of course, my initial rankings go live over at

FtnFantasy.com on Tuesdays. And that's just a rough set. You know, I say it all the time.

It's just we're setting the table for the week. We're not ready to eat. And ultimately,

we're really not ready to eat for each of these games until we get about 30 minutes before those games. I know it's a long wait. We're not using these to make any start-sit decisions as of right now. But every single week in the initial set of rankings, I do see some major movers and shakers. So let's get into them. Let's start with quarterback. A big riser.

Not really that big, but I got to point it out anyway. I have Drake May at number three for the

week. And I got to tell you, I've seen this young man blossom into a borderline elite level

quarterback. And I realize that is pushing it. I know it's only six games,

but he has played excellent over those six games. And of course, we've seen guys go on runs

and then come back to Earth. And maybe that's the case for Drake May, but I don't see that

right here. What I'm seeing is this guy is elevating the play of everybody around him.

He's a threat to run,

but he can beat you with his arm as well. He made some big time throws last week. And I have no

issue with him being in this top five conversation this week against the Tennessee Titans,

which, you know, who knows what they'll be this weekend? Maybe you get that post firing bump.

Who knows? But ultimately here, I mean, Drake May really, really set up here for some success.

And just kudos.

It lends credence to the late round approach.
