welcome to FFT and five I'm Chris towers I'm here with Dan Schneier we're talking about the

biggest draft needs for the NFC dress the NFC West teams and draft is exactly a week away as

we're recording this on Thursday.

And next week we'll have a whole bunch more draft prep coverage for you.

But right now, let's talk about the biggest needs for the NFC West teams.

And we'll start with the 49ers who, because they've made so many high profile trades,

you might have heard of their acquisition of Christian McCaffrey for one last season.

They don't have a pick in the first two rounds of this year's draft. So probably won't get a

right away contributor on offense, at least for this team. The good news is, do they really have

a need on offense right now? This team doesn't have an actual need on offense. I'll throw in here an interesting one for me,

quarterback. If Kyle Shan here finds somebody he likes in this class, why not? I mean, we still don't know about Trey Lance. It's unknown. We hear they're fielding calls on it, or they're accepting calls on him. They're not fielding calls. Brock Perth's injury is weird. he says he might not even play this season.

And Sam Darno, whatever.

But so if he finds somebody he likes in those middle rounds, Brock Purdy's injury is weird. He says he might not even play this season.

So if he finds somebody he likes in those middle rounds, I'd be intrigued to see what they do there.

And I think based on what we saw from Brock Purdy, not to take anything away from him, I think anyone that plays in this offense is going to be pretty interesting for fantasy

because they've built this offense around one Kyle

Shanahan scheme, which a lot of in breaking routes that get guys the ball in space,

but also just the most ridiculously ludicrously talented group of pass catchers with the

ball in their hands in particular that just make the life of the quarterback so much easier.

So that's a situation where if someone like Hendon Hooker fell and they took an opportunity to take him, that would be really interesting. So that's one to keep an eye on. Let's move on to the Seahawks who, again, on offense, I'm not sure specifically what the need is. They pick number five overall, the number 20, number 37,
