They're attending the annual United Nations Climate Conference called COP28,

which is now bigger than ever. COP stands for a conference of of the parties and this is the 28th year

the United Nations has put it together. The point is to help countries figure out how ambitious

their climate program should be and to make commitments to the rest of the world.

And some are hoping this year all the leaders will reach an agreement to cut methane emissions.

There could also be some big announcements about new investments in clean energy, though some people are skeptical,

partly because the top leaders from two of the world's biggest polluters, the US and China,
