The locals were content with a simple way of life.

However, all of this would change in the mid-1960s. In that time, something happened that was so weird,

so swept under the rug, and yet so effective in inspiring public confusion and fear that it actually

changed the little county forever.

Forever putting it on the map of high strangeness for those who keep up with such things.

But before I tell you about that event, I need to actually jump ahead and tell you about some of the things that happen in the years after it.

In the early to mid-1970s, some years after this mysterious happening that I'm being very vague and mysterious about.

The towns of Kexburg, Sleepy Hollow, and Dairy,

always in the county line of Westmoreland.

Experience what is perhaps the highest concentration of alleged Bigfoot encounters

in such a small area and in such a short time, just 10 years.
