My name is Dan Lindholm and I've been submersed in the Bigfoot subject for many years of my life.

In fact, I was just a young kid about probably in the seventh grade.

The first time I had what I now know was most likely a Bigfoot related experience.

And I was about 18 years old when I actually had my first sighting, a very heroin experience that I'll share with you today.

And for many years I kept it inside and I didn't tell anybody.

And way back in the 80s when I had my first experiences, it wasn't so open like it is now.

It was really hard for people to tell experiences. People thought you were crazy.

Even in places like California and Oregon where people have a lot of sightings, it still was kind of one of those things like

seeing aliens is kind of the same thing back in those days.

And now it's all a lot more accepted now than it was back then with all the shows on TV and a lot more general education of the public.

So I kept a real quiet for a long time and didn't broadcast my experiences.

I didn't even want to talk about them at all.

And then I got on Facebook around 2009, 2010.

And I think it was 2011 I discovered the Bigfoot community on Facebook which blew me away.

I had no idea some such a thing existed.

And of course I was always interested.

But I had no idea there was like this community where people are sharing information and sharing pictures and stuff.

It was really neat.

So I got involved with that.

And I immediately discovered about the Melba Ketchum DNA work that she was doing.

And I expected big things to come from that.

And at that time I decided I wanted to get out my sightings and the things I'd seen and the things that friends of mine in school had seen.
