Tonight's guest, Brandon Conley, went prospecting 5 years ago, with his cousin, in Northern California. The 2 of them expected to have a relaxing time, enjoying nature and taking in the sights, while looking for gold. Unfortunately, their trip turned out to be a lot more eventful than either of them expected it to be. Imagine what it would be like to have a Sasquatch walk to within 15 feet of you. 1:02.0	I had a cousin. He and I would like to go out and explore the Sierra Nevada
1:07.4	mountain ranges, either for prospecting or any other hobbies that we had like fishing, camping or hunting.
1:14.0	So five years ago, probably back in a February, I forgot to hear, like he thinking 2014 or 2013. He had a day off from work. I just got off of work. I told him like, hey, I got a
1:29.4	today weekend. You want to go prospecting up near Mammoth Lakes and Rock Creek over in that area of Northern California?
1:36.0	He said, sure, why not? We haven't been out there in a while.
1:39.0	That's great. We packed up our stuff. I got my gold pan, I got my shovel, he got his sluice box, he got
1:48.2	its shovel as well. We packed up my truck, stopped at the grocery store, get some snacks, some water bottles and some sunscreen
1:55.9	because it was supposed to be 80 degrees up there in that area.
2:01.0	It wasn't that bad for drive, maybe like a two or three hour drive from where we were to get to our location by by Mammoth Lake and Rock Creek area.
2:11.0	By the time we got up there, we had some people tell us, be aware of the hairy man, and we did not believe at first.
