Well, you guys know that tomorrow is July 4th,

and that is the celebration of a nation that was formed one nation under God.

Now, everything that's happened in this nation since that day may not be perfect but we are the number one

the number one nation in the world at bringing the gospel to every other nation in the world

and our own nation and that is because one day somebody said, I want to serve God and worship God

because he's God. And in the nation they were in, they couldn't. So they sailed over here

and they started this nation. And that's why it was started so that they could worship God.

Amen? Now there's, you know what? That is alone a good reason to pray for

this nation on a regular basis. And the whole sermon's not about this. The sermon's about being

thankful. And sometimes when things start going bad in our own lives, we can begin to be unthankful.

Well, I noticed, you know, in talking to other people and people have opinions everywhere,

but they begin to be unthankful about America.

And we need to be thankful.

It's not perfect and it's not full of perfect people.

But it is one nation under God

and it has the ability to do things that other nations cannot do.

I don't say will not do, cannot do.

Because they're not one nation under God.

Right? When we allow access to the Father into this nation, into the heads of the leaders of

this nation, into the people of this nation, when we pray, we allow things to happen. And people say,

well, you allow God? That's what he said to do, right? Pray?

Well, he wouldn't have asked us to pray if it wasn't necessary.
