All right, big night tonight. Welcome, and Lake Kick is live. It is Thursday night, August 26th, the

year of our Lord, 2021.

Jam-packed. How jam-packed are we? Well, by the time we go off the air, it's not going to be a show that's over an hour long, but we will have predictions up to it, including wins and losses for 38 teams over three conferences.

We're hitting full season predictions for the SEC, for the Big 10, for the Big 12 tonight.

We are also, and that's big, but we're not stopping there, going to talk about 2007.

As some of you have been apt to do over the course of the spring and summer,

and I've pushed it and I've pushed it and I've pushed it because I knew that I wanted to get to right at the point we are now.

One week to go until the full season

starts, hours to go until part of the season starts. And I've looked at this season from afar,

and I've seen that I think there's going to be a little more competitive balance at the top of it,

maybe than we had in recent years. So I knew this theme would pop up. The whole 2007 protocol,

2007, one of if not the wildest years in the history of college football, what would it take to get something along those lines, maybe not a total duplicate, but what would it take to repeat portions of the 2007 season? I think we have at least some things to look for and some things that are very possible.

I'm going to discuss that in a few minutes. Also, for the final time before the season starts,

we're going to talk final camp whispers and intel. There are a lot of things still happening.

We've still got quarterback battles going on, but more so over the past week when you start to

install actual, and you go into actual game prep for

your week one matchup, you start to get a sense of how staffs really feel. And so I've got some of

that for you tonight. It has never been more imperative than it is right now to make sure you're
