Who's glad to be in church today? Anybody? Anybody?

Oh, yeah. That's awesome. I want to say a big hello to all of our locations. We are one church

that meets all across our area in different venues and locations. We're so glad that you guys are

along for the ride. I want to give a very special greeting to the men and women in the Alabama

Department of Corrections. We had the honor. Come on, church, to be in 20 locations all across our great state.

Yeah, it's awesome.

And, of course, we always have people watching online somewhere around the world.

We're so glad for technology, but there's nothing like being in the room.

So try to get to one of our locations or our church near you.

It makes the experience even that much better. But we're so glad you're along for the ride.

Today we are starting a brand new series. And if you've been around much, you know that we

really kind of dedicated this year. We felt like we heard a word from the Lord to dedicate this

year as a year of great joy. In fact, we brought it in our Christmas

message at the end of 2018. We talked about it at the beginning of the year. And then just this past

month, we had an entire series around the idea of choosing joy, recognizing that joy is available.

So you can have, regardless of circumstance, you can still have this internal,

it's a type of happiness that only God can bring, regardless of circumstances, but you do have to

choose it. It doesn't find you. You have to go find it. But we thought it would be great as we

now get into this fall season to focus on all of the things that rob us of our joy. And we knew we were going

to come here. In fact, in our Easter services, if you remember, if you were here back in the

spring for Easter, we always use the occasion that is Easter to do a little survey. So we'll ask
