Hiya and welcome to the Red Men TV. Liverpool win a game of football. They win a massive game of football.

1-0 against Inter Milan at the Sancero. In one has been a really, really difficult week, I really thought that was a massive performance.

Liverpool dug deep at times. They gritted, they worked hard, they put in

the most effort there and they come away with all three points. And I do think they deserved it.

Look, it wasn't the most entertaining game, especially in that second half. But I thought Liverpool's

basics and fundamentals were really good. The first half, I thought Curtis Jones was brilliant.

He really set us up.

He gave us a direction.

He carried the ball.

He beat men.

He tried to give us everything there.

And yeah, I didn't mind the first half performance.

We obviously score a goal that's disallowed with handball. And to be honest, as soon as I saw it, I thought it was going to be disallowed because I always just thought if a handball leads to a goal, then it's probably going to be disallowed. It was disallowed. I don't know whether that's correct or not. But in the moment I thought it was going to be overruled.

But yeah, I thought Liverpool were much the better side up until that disallowed goal.

And then I think Inter grew more into the game.

They also had two injuries there quite early on, which maybe Liverpool could have done a bit more with.

But I just thought it was a really solid performance

I don't think Robertson or Gomez got isolated really in many moments don't think they got beat

I thought visual van Dyck and Canarte did really well he didn't get bullied um you know they

can't just put fires out whenever it was needed um and yeah I think the big chance for them was the Martinez header which it's a great

run great diagonal run off of Virgil Van Dyke great header and a brilliant saved by

Alison Becker and if that would have gone in just before half time then you know, you sat there thinking something completely different
