When I was arriving here, because Pete lives in a compound, I had to, you have to call

up to be granted permission by the king to enter the court.

And the woman calls and she hangs up.

And then when I'm walking away, I hear her start laughing. And she just goes, he said cheers.

He said cheers.

And I thought it was very funny.

I was like, yeah, yeah, he says cheers.

Like, non-ironically.

Is that sound strange to an American?

It just sounds like something we all want to say, but can't.

So I don't know what. Because there's been a few times I've

been in a bar and I've said cheers and I've noticed the person has hesitated and then set it back

as if they're not quite sure. They're allowed to use it. It's like saying, isn't there a French

one too? It's like there's a French word that everyone says as like a greeting. I'm blanking on what it is, but it's like one of those words that sounds really cool,

but we can't get away with it.
