Yes welcome back once again after a one week break. We're here in season 28. We're talking about big mistakes, but getting this man on to this podcast as a co-host was definitely not a big mistake.

Hi Pete, well of course it wasn't a mistake.

I think I bring some natural gravitas to your light heartiness of what's very serious subjects for yours or now

are listeners.

Gravitas. Gravitas.

Gravitas. That's a big word for this time of the morning.

But today's big mistake, apart from using long words, is going to be ignoring

costs. Yeah, and it's a huge mistake this one. We bang on about it all the time, but for good reason,

right? Not paying heed to the impact of costs when you're investing

and building wealth generally just can mean throwing money away unnecessarily.

Yeah and that seems deaf given that we spend so much of our time earning it and saving it up for

our future.

And in addition, how many people are currently checking the old pound or two

they can save on their groceries or petrol purchases?

Then ignore the cost of investments which can make a far bigger difference down the line. Let's see what we can do about that in just a minute or so,
