Blue Hire Podcast Network. I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And today, I want to talk about

the roster. Now, being as we are, we cannot talk specific names necessarily, but we are getting very close

guys to the point where new players are going to be joining the team, whether it's via the

draft process. We don't have a pick, but we've been working guys out. We got Austin Reeves last

year as a two-way guy that got converted to a regular contract later on. This is one of the strengths of the

organization. So this is certainly even without a pick, we can get a contributor, right, in this

part of the process. Then we have trades in free agency coming up right after that, Dee.

Pete, really quick, the Lakers have also been known to buy, basically, picks in the second round.

And there has been reporting out there that the Lakers are interested in doing that again.

There is a, just for the uninitiated, there is a bundle of cash that every team has, every season.

I think, Mike, it might be $5 million or $6 million that they can include in transactions in order to facilitate trades.

And so the infamous cash considerations that exist within deals, that's where that comes from.
