Knowles being hired at Tennessee and kind of what they saw from him as he was the defensive

coordinator of their teams that's coming up later in the show. But first, officially Tennessee

announces it on Thursday.

So Tennessee has this defensive coordinator.

We've talked about what he's done in the past eight years, wrote about it at the

ballquest.com on Thursday as well.

I mean, his pedigree speaks for itself. His results speak for itself.

I do think there are some correlations. If you go and look at the numbers where it takes a

couple of years for his defense to really prove great results, having said that, outside of

year number one at Oklahoma State, like year two at Oklahoma State,

much, much, much better than what Tennessee got this year. Year one at Ohio State,

significantly better than what Tennessee got this year defensively. So I guess what I'm trying

to say is, sure, there might be something to

that, and we're going to hear both of those guys kind of speak on the scheme, the transition,

how long it takes and all that. But if the floor is raised, I mean, Brian Rice said it on the show
