We're back time for another edition of the Carolina Insider, Just Jones with you here today.

And it has obviously been a difficult week around Carolina athletics, Carolina basketball on the Tardial

sports network and for Adam and me personally with the passing of our great friend Eric Montross.

And while we continue to process Eric's loss, we didn't feel like having a quote-unquote normal version of the

podcast or the Christmas spectacular today was the right decision.

Of course that show is always,

as our show always is.

It has some silly and fun moments and maybe not necessarily

in the silly and fun mood at the moment.

But we did want to bring you a couple of different things on the show today.

On the broadcast from Wednesday night,

Carolina's 8169 win over Oklahoma.

We tried as best we could.

It was difficult emotionally, of course,

to honor Eric both with the open to our broadcast and then a discussion that Adam and

Tyler Zeller and I had about Eric.

And so I'm going to include those pieces of audio for you to listen to or maybe re-listen to if you so choose

coming up in just a little bit.

Also, we had done already a couple of interviews that we were excited for you to hear here on the Christmas spectacular version of the show, and they just didn't make a lot of sense for us to run at a later time.

So we wanted to bring those to you and they still were relevant and made the most sense.
