We indeed have such a great shepherd who leads hungry sheep into green pastures,

and thirsty sheep and thirsty under shepherds beside still waters,

and restores our souls,

restores our souls in worship,

as we see your grandeur,

restores our souls in the fellowship of such brothers

who also hunger after our God,

who leads us in paths of righteousness for his namesake.

So Father, now as we come to your word,

would you freshly satisfy us?

Would you freshly thrill us with this calling

to feed hungry souls when you are God are so eager and

ready to feed your son's a good shepherd he knows where the green pastures are where the

still water is and father would you first and foremost feed us

to make us good,

dignified, limited role players

in your great feeding of your flock?
