So we got a lot of work to do here with the potentially even more truncated offseason.

So we got to get started on some more of these offseason outlooks and the Atlanta Hawks,

the free agent boogie man as I have called them.

We'll talk a lot about where they need to concentrate their money, who they might be looking

at with the sixth overall pick and our opinion of the reporting that they may look to trade

that pick.

Lots to discuss here with one of the offseason's most fascinating teams.

So why don't we begin with their overall financial situation?

Yeah, so part of why the Hawks are such an important piece of the 2020 offseason is because

they have a bunch of space and they also have an intriguing foundation on top of that.

So if you remember before the trade deadline and before COVID-19 changed the kind of revenue

estimates and we don't know exactly where the cap is going to be, it looks like the

Hawks are going to have a totally insane amount of space and that's still a lot.

So the number that I'm using is about 45 million.

Now if you count in roster hold, that gets a little bit closer to 40.

But when you think about where this team is and remember they have tre-young, they traded

for two centers that are under contract for next year in Clingapele and Dewey in Deadman,

the challenge that I've had to kind of going through the Hawks is as you kind of got

it in the intro is how do you concentrate their money because they don't.

They have a lot of guys that I think that Travis Schlink wants to try out.

They have a lot of players to evaluate.

They have a lot of players that they think are key parts of their core.
