Welcome to Bewildered. I'm Martha Beck here with Rowan Mangan. At this crazy moment in history, a lot of people are feeling bewildered, but that actually may be a sign we're on track. Human culture teaches

us to come to consensus, but nature, our own true nature, helps us come to our senses. Rowan and I believe that the best way to figure it all out

is by going through bewilderment into bewilderment.

That's why we're here.

When you set out to become bewiledilded you can find yourself doing odd things.

Yeah, sometimes you feel this strange almost physical pull to do certain things at certain times.

Like us, for instance, right now we're feeling the pool together, like with you if you want.

And we want to do it somewhere wild. So we've dreamt up this unlikely notion of a culture cleans retreat.

We meet up in beautiful, lush, natural, Costa Rica!

And spend six days stripping away the layers of culture that keep us from our truest purpose.

Row and I will be teaching you to drop everything in your mind in life that isn't your pure wild self.

That's why we're calling the retreat, pure wild self.

We're going to help you learn to hear the difference

between the false voice of culture

and the true voice of your nature.
