million with recorded deaths approaching a million and counting.

We've seen surges in the country's worst hit, that's India, Brazil and the USA,

but also in Argentina, France, Spain and many others.

Israel was the first country to enter a second national lockdown ahead

of the Jewish high holy days.

Meanwhile here in the UK there has been a sharp spike in cases as well, although without a corresponding increase in deaths yet, likely

because this spike is mostly, for the moment, among younger people.
