Here's something I never want to do on the Council of Trent. I never want to say today's episode is sponsored by

I hate that I scroll right past those ads and the reason the Council of Trent has been ad free is

because of all of our patrons at trendhorn podcast.com. But I need your help

because I want to expand the Council of Trent and do even more. For example we just

hired Vanessa aka that one Catholic girl to handle all of our social media. That

includes Tik-Tok, Instagram, the of Trent Twitter, and YouTube shorts

that will have the potential to reach millions of people. Vanessa is also going to

help me sift through the thousands of YouTube comments you all leave on every video.

Number two, we hired Thomas West who previously ran the Theology of the Body YouTube channel

to be the editor for the Council of Trend. Thomas has already edited some of our

episodes and you guys have really liked his work. I really like his work. Up to this

point I have been the one editing all of these episodes for YouTube because I used to work at a TV station and I have some video

editing skills but I don't have enough to make it really professional and staying up late to get those edits done

for every episode it's been killing me. Also I want to maximize my time that is spent

researching and writing and I want to let the pros like Thomas handle the technical end of the podcast.

So I want our episodes to be pleasing to watch on YouTube, but I also want them to be easy to listen to on every podcast app.

Some of you who are podcast listeners have been with us since the beginning in 2018

and I'm really grateful for your longtime support. You guys on the podcast end also get to hear

our free-for-all Friday content which Thomas will now be putting on a separate YouTube channel along with keeping it on the regular

podcast schedule. I also want to host more in-person dialogues with non-Catholics

because it's so much more fun to sit across from someone and talk to them instead of doing it over Zoom or Skype.

But in order to do that, our studio is going to require a full redesign.
