Royal Caribbean announced some big changes coming to Allure of the Seas, and I want to talk about it.

Here we go.

So Royal Caribbean finally is going to make some changes to allure of the seas.

These were changes that initially were supposed to be made back in 2020, but we all know why that,

well, didn't happen.

Nonetheless, they're happening now in 2025.

Remember, cruise ships always go in for work at least every five years.

As they get a little older, like over 30 years or so, I think they go in a little more often,

but every five years, a cruise ship will go in for work.

So as an example, icon of the Seas, which launched in January of 2024,

you can expect the Dry Dock in 2029, almost certainly.

And with a lure of the seas, she's going to go in for some big changes there. And then really this is to make up for the amplification that she did not get back in 2020.

So what this really means is Rural Agreement is going to update the ship.

But I wanted to talk today about what the changes are and what they're not going to be

and kind of compare and contrast and what we can expect from a lure. The work will be done in March of 2025 and she'll

reenter service in April of 2025 while she's over in Europe and then return to the U.S.

shortly thereafter. Now, this is a $100 million plus upgrade. And Real Corbine was sure to remind

me that it's $100 million plus, which I think means that it's at least $100 million.

They may spend more on it, but it's not quite clear.

What's interesting about that number is the fact that when Oasis of the Seas got her
