Welcome to Big Brother 27 Unlocked Unlocked! This week, hosts Cory Wurtenberg and America Lopez were joined by the “favorite BB Kat,” Kat Dunn, for a deep dive into the latest from the Big Brother house and the Unlocked show itself.
The immediate verdict on BB27? Kat declared it “bingeworthy,” praising the “unhinged” and “chaotic” cast for coming to play. A standout moment was Kat’s “mastermind” strategy for watching live feeds. She recommends a quad-view on mute on one monitor, with a separate tablet ready to unmute the individual camera you want to focus on, to avoid missing key conversations. America, meanwhile, found a new nemesis in the loud music on Big Brother Unlocked, which she found distracting, wishing for a more relaxed, “After Sun” vibe rather than the current “Sports Center” feel.
Segments from Big Brother Unlocked were thoroughly dissected. The “Big Move or Bad Move” segment saw Kat, a self-proclaimed “Keanu stan,” defending his call-out of Jimmy as a “big move”. Taylor’s controversial opinion that “the only time to make a final two is at the final three” also sparked debate. The appearance of comedian Bobby Moynihan garnered a lukewarm response, with both Kat and America preferring to see more Big Brother alums as guests. “Rachel Unfiltered” and “Patty Meltdown” (Zach crying over Zay’s eviction) were both deemed bingeworthy for their entertainment value and raw emotion. While the “Ava’s Faces” compilation segment was considered “cringeworthy,” Ava herself was celebrated as “hilarious” and “bingeworthy” for her unique personality and strong social game.

Spoilers for the upcoming week were briefly touched upon, revealing Lauren’s HOH win and her “safe” nominations of Keanu, Kelly, and Will. America criticized this, noting that keeping targets that others are after doesn’t benefit Lauren’s own game. The hosts also expressed a desire for the “Who to Goo” twist to involve voting for the “least favorite house guest” to create more genuine drama and blindsides.
