Continue to take personal inventory and when we are wrong promptly admitted it.

Believe it or not, I actually got to do, I started doing this step when I was in rehab.

I mean, in the sense that when I was in rehab they gave me like a worksheet that was the step

10 worksheet and it was, you know, it was a lot of the questions on page 86, which are

actually found in the 11 step, but I had a really very cool experience with it because

one of the things that actually says on page 85 is that we can, or actually, I guess

it's on 87, is, you know, to invite other people into this process with us, but sometimes

it breaks down the barriers of the barriers that we put up with each other and the defenses

that we have up with each other and it can actually invite them in.

You can create an intimacy and my first experience with that was I actually would do this

with my stepfather at night when I came home from rehab and it was really, it was very

positive for us because we never got along before that and now all of a sudden when I came

back from rehab, he had a son that died from this disease about five years prior.

So when I came home from rehab, he was very open to me and I was very open to him.
