So we're on page six.

We're not on page, but actually on page 63, but I'm going to look at page 62, because

page 62 is very instructive.

At the top of page 62, five lines down from the top, it says, selfishness, self-centeredness, that we think is the root of our troubles, not alcohol.

Driven by a hundred forms of fear, self-delusion, self-seeking, self-pity, we step on the toes of our fellows and they retaliate.

Sometimes they hurt us, seemingly without provocation, but we invariably find that at some time in the past,

we have made decisions based on self on ego that has late which later placed us in a position to be hurt

so we our troubles we think of our or basically of our own making now this is important because they've just they just had page 60, 61 and the top of page 62, particularly page 61, where they talk about the actor who wants to run the whole show. And it's very, that's a very important page also. And that's why I read it last

week with my name in it. And I challenge everybody to read that page with their name in there.

So that we get to see what we actually do, particularly before we start to do a first step.

And it says, this is at the bottom of page 62, it says this is the how and the why of it.

First of all, the why.

First of all, we had to quit playing God. Why? Because it didn't work.

Next, this is the how. We decided that hereafter,

in this drama of life, God was going to be our director. Now, directors direct, and they direct, director is a, like if we take a director of a movie or director of a film or a play the director has an overall artistic idea about what the finished product is going to look like the actors have to follow the director's directions in order for that to be achieved.

And particularly now when we have a lot of computer generated stuff going on in the background

on a lot of films, most of the time the actors are acting in front of a green screen.
