What's up everybody? Welcome into this Wednesday edition of Pushing the Pile. It is officially April.

0:23.9

It means it's drafted here at pushing the pile.

0:28.0

Because we're talking draft prospects. And we're going to go through today's show and do guys who think are the biggest risers and fallers throughout this pre-draft process. And obviously,

0:33.6

this is subjective to a degree. A lot of rising and falling is just people realizing how good someone is or someone

0:43.7

realizing how overrated someone was in the first place.

0:46.8

It's not a real they did something.

0:49.3

But for a lot of these guys, actually, whether it's between their performances at All-Star

0:53.5

games, their performances in their pre-draft testing or lack thereof, whether it's between their performances at All-Star Games, their performances in their pre-draft testing, or lack thereof, that it's actually real, that they have risen or they have fallen. So we're going to start with offense. We're going to go through position by position, give a guy for each. We'll start positive. We'll start with our riser. So, JP, who is your biggest riser at quarterback through this pre-draft process?

1:11.5

For me, the biggest riser has been Garrett Nussmeyer. And I think it's partially been because he's

1:16.3

actually fully healthy now. And he has said that he was playing this entire 2025 season with

1:21.8

an injury that was suffered two days into camp. But I also think Nussmeyer is a winner because

1:27.2

he's shown that he can

1:28.4

throw with timing, with anticipation, and I think that stuff is on the 2024 tape for Nussmeyer.

1:33.8

I mean, if we remember going into the 2025 season, he was seen as a first round pick.

1:38.3

He was seen as a guy who could be a bona fide, like, starting quarterback in the NFL.

1:47.7

I do think that's relatively cooled off and I think for good reason. I don't think that he's going to be a starting quarterback in the NFL,

1:52.2

but I do think he in a quarterback draft class that has one surefire starter and everybody else

2:00.1

is a lot of question marks.

2:01.5

He's starting to play himself back up into like, you know,

2:04.5

if we're in the third round and we know can spot start a game,

2:08.7

I think Nussmeyer can be one of those guys.

2:11.6

I'm right there with you.
