Well, I had hoped to lead with sports on this Thursday and lighten things up to start KKHI,

but we just can't do it. As very early on Thursday morning, the House of Representatives

passed the Big Beautiful Bill in Washington, D.C., which is great news. But the other main

story that we'll get to in a moment or two is really heavy, and it's awful. And we'll get to that one.

But we will start with the news and do the sports second because the big beautiful bill has been on many of your minds.

I've received numerous emails from you that you've been upset with the lack of cutting in this budget in this bill, that there's not enough spending cut.

And I agree with that.

These things are very hard to pass. It's very hard to get everybody on board. Thomas Massey did not vote for it. A couple of

Republicans did not. But they got it passed in the House. It prevents us from an additional

$4.8 trillion in taxes that would have kicked in September. In September, if we don't get this thing

passed and signed into law. So this is an absolutely mandatory thing. If we want to find other ways

to cut, we're going to have to try to do it separately out of the big beautiful bill. I think Trump's

plan is to have a lot of new revenue from tariffs and a lot of new revenue from income taxes

with lower taxes because there will be more

jobs and more people working. I think that's the plan. We'll see. There is some cutting in this.

I think they said there's $1.5 trillion over a number of years. That's fine, but that's not nearly

enough. That's not, it's not even close to getting us where we need to be to spending less than,

we got to reduce the deficit.

We have to spend less than we're bringing in.

This isn't a, this isn't even a break even a even thing anymore.
