Everyone is down in Indianapolis

and they are watching workouts

and they're having meetings and they're trying to play mind

games with players and there's not a chair in the room so do you stand for the whole meeting

or do you ask for a chair and if you don't ask for a chair does that mean that you're more malleable

and maybe you're not a leader of men?

They're making that job so much harder to evaluate.

It was always really hard to evaluate players.

And now they're making the combine very comfy for these guys.

And when they're comfy, yes, they're more likely to perform at their peak.

But part of the process of the NFL

Kahnman was always intended to see how fast can they run, how high can they jump, can

they complete a sentence in the midst of an interview, but also having it be this stressful

job interview, the most intense job interview that any of them have ever gone through and

plausibly will ever go through and see how they handle it, how they manage it under duress,

because you can't really put them under physical duress, so put them under some mental

and emotional duress.

Okay, for someone who played big time college football, who made it to the NFL, who's watched high school football at an extremely high level, if you were advising a guy that you knew was going to be a first round pick because of what the tape says about that player, what would your advice be for that player for the combine?
