Well, the Big 12 basketball tournament is staying exactly where it belongs. Welcome in. I'm Pete Mundo.

So I want to focus for this show on the big news coming out of the Big 12 on Tuesday night.

Brett Yormark, the commissioner announced that the Big 12 would keep the basketball tournament in Kansas City until 2031.

And this is absolutely the right move.

It's a no-brainer.

Kansas City checks off a lot of boxes for the Big 12.

It geographically makes sense.
