It always pains me to say this but i have to say it and that is the fact

that the cc got it right yes i know i hate those words i hate them but the cc got it right

and maybe we should have known the cc would get it right because this is what the SEC does.

They build up their brand.

They BS us.

They know what they're doing, though, when it comes to hype, when it comes to optics.

That's why they play eight conference games, four non-conference games.

And it seems like at least two of them are total

cupcakes. And conveniently, they always play a cupcake right before they play their big rivalry

game at the end of the year. Just conveniently happens to work out that way for SEC teams,

huh? I mean, it's comical. But you know what? They had it right playing no non-conference

games this year. Because now the Big 12 is looking at itself and saying, okay, yeah,
